Is it legal to record videos and audios on public roads/highways with my car video recorder (CVR)?

Category : Setup / Operation
Using a CVR to record videos on public roads is legal in most cases. The law allows one to record videos in case of car accident as long as one is not infringing on others' privacy. The law for recording audios, however, is different from state to state. We recommend that drivers notify passengers that audio recording is taking place, or simply disable the microphone on your CVR.You may also refer to your state's law for guidelines.
